eat Time Information (RTI) is essentially an overhaul of PAYE (Pay As You Earn) intended to streamline the process of reporting an employee’s information to HMRC.

As the name suggests Real Time Information relays employee information in real time. The new system started to be phased in from April 2012 onwards.
